One Day Away
The Turkey Trot is one day away, and we have over 4200 pre-registered runners. This means that we will likely reach the race cap of 5000, if this happens race-day registration will likely not be available.
We have also posted Final Instructions for runners and volunteers alike.
Nearing 1000 registrations
Turkey Trotters the race is nearing the first 1000 registrations, which means we are on pace to reach our 5000 registrant cap.
If this happens there will be no reaceday registration for the first time in the history of the Alexandria Turkey Trot. Make sure you and your friends register ahead of time to ensure you have a bib on raceday.
2012 Turkey Trot start time moved to 9AM
All runners should be aware that the start time for this year's race is an hour earlier than years past - 9AM - and all other race-related times (road closings/openings, volunteer arrival times, etc.) have moved up and hour respectively as well.
This also includes in-person registration on the day of the race which now opens at 7:30.
Be ready for that starting gun at 9AM!
