Will Makinen

Will is a nova native and ran his first Alexandria Turkey Trot in 2017 as a workout for the West Potomac track team, and hasn’t missed a trot since. He ran Club at Princeton University and now lives in San Francisco and trains with West Valley Track Club. His recent running accomplishments include winning the 2024 CIM Half Marathon Relay in a course record time and a 3rd-place finish at the 2025 Oakland Marathon.
