Start Area Map:
In person registration:
A limited number of in-person registrations will be made available on raceday and Wednesday packet pickup, cash payment is preferred.
While we strive to order the correct amount every year, determining this number especially with over 2000 registrations in the last two days is very difficult, for this reason, t-shirts are not guaranteed. If we don’t have your size when you come for packet pickup, we will be glad to provide a cash refund for the shirt price on the spot. However, if you bought a shirt and you don’t come to pick it up at packet pickup, we will not mail it to you or refund it.
Public Transportation Directions here:
Limited parking will be available at GW Middle School and in the neighborhoods surrounding the school. Mt. Vernon Avenue will close promptly at 8:00 A.M. and will likely not open again until 11:00.
If you plan on parking at the school or in the surrounding neighborhood, remember that you will not be able to get out until after the roads reopen.
When picking up your chip and bib, ensure that your biographical information is correct. We will have correction sheets available if your information is incorrect.
Virtual Goodie Bag:
In an effort to reduce paper waste and costs, we have done away with paper coupons and cluttered goodie bags, and have transitioned to a virtual goodie bag. All of the coupons and discounts that you would have received in the past are now contained within this electronic file, which can be downloaded by clicking here.
Race-day registration will start at 7:30 AM in the GW Middle School gym. Please bring exact change, checks made out to “Del Ray Business Association,” or a credit card to pay for registration.
We expect nearly 1,000 same-day registrants, so arrive early if you want to ensure you can get a bib and start on time.
Please remember to bring two canned food donations for those who are less fortunate this Thanksgiving. ALIVE! will be collecting them near the GW Gym entrance.
The Chronotrack timing system will be used to score this race. Your personal timing chip (B-Tag) will be stuck to the back of your bib. You must wear your bib on the FRONT of your shirt if you want a time.
Doggy and Stroller Race:
Doggy and Stroller participants will start behind the school and then will merge with the rest of the field.
Stroller participants must keep their children inside the stroller at all times, INCLUDING the finish line. Anyone breaking this rule will be disqualified.
Doggy Dash participants are asked to please keep their dogs on a short leash during the entire race so that it will not get caught on stroller wheels, traffic cones, or course fencing.

The award ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10:15 AM with the presentation of overall and master’s winners. All other awards will be presented thereafter as they become available.
