Cindy Anderson

Cindy lives in Chesapeake Beach, MD with her husband and three sons. Cindy started running in high school and ran cross country and track and field for the University of Rhode Island (2001-2006). During her time at URI, Cindy competed in the 800m-10km distances and was the 2006 Atlantic 10 Conference Champion in the women’s 10km. Cindy has continued running after college and was the 2008 Women’s Xterra Trail Running World Champion. She has also completed two half ironman races and competed in the 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials in the women’s marathon. Cindy’s career background is in cardiovascular science and she has a PhD in cell and molecular biology.
