The 2020 Turkey Trot will be a little different from past years.
First off, this year will be a virtual event, and you will be able to submit a time from any 5 mile run you complete between November 21 and November 29 2020.
We are still working on packet pickup locations and dates, or whether we will mail out all bibs and shirts.
We will do our best to keep you informed as to any rule changes as the race gets closer both via the website and emails.
REGISTRATION:
Online registration will be open until 6:00 on November 28.
T-Shirts:
The initial order of shirts is sold out, but we are still taking orders for post-thanksgiving shirt delivery, if you would like to purchase one or multiple, please click here.
NO mail-ins, NO Refunds, NO Transfers.

PACKET PICKUP:
If you ordered a T-shirt, they will be mailed to you with your bib before Thanksgiving.
If you only registered for the race you can pick up your bib on the following days.

COURSE: Obviously because this is a virtual event you can run 5 miles whereever you want. But it you want to run the traditional Flat, fast, USATF-certified 5 MIile course, the map is below.

FOOD DONATION: Please support ALIVE!, a non-profit organization serving Alexandria's needy, by making an optional cash donation when you register. You can also bring the following nonperishable food items to Pat Miller Neighborhood Square on Nov 21, 25 & 28 during Bib Pick Up: 1 lb bag of rice, 1 lb bag of dry beans, Box of Mac & Cheese, Canned vegetable, soup or fruit 14-15 oz, Canned tuna or chicken, Box baking mix 5-7 oz, Peanut Butter..
MINORS: Must have parent or guardian present to register and participate.
TIMING: You will be able to submit your time via webform the week of the race. you will need to use one of the major distance tracking apps and submit a valid publicly visible time to the race organizers to be included in the results.
